How do I get a Medicinal Cannabis Prescription

The medicinal cannabis prescription is a legal document that authorises you to use cannabis for medical purposes. It is provided by a certified healthcare practitioner who has assessed that the use of cannabis as a therapeutic option may help your condition. This prescription contains information targeted to your personal needs, such as the type of cannabis product to be used, the dosage, frequency of usage, and duration of the prescription. This document is required to legally obtain medicinal cannabis products from authorised suppliers.

To obtain a prescription for medicinal cannabis from our clinic, we have a simple process that prioritises your needs:

Book your Initial Consultation. This can either be in person at one of our seven clinics nationwide or alternatively, we can see you via our online telehealth process.
Fill out a patient intake form so we can learn more about your health history and present condition.
Meet with one of our doctors who will establish your suitability for medicinal cannabis and if suitable, collaborate with you to develop a treatment plan based on your unique needs and goals.
We can then dispense your medication from our dedicated CannaPlus+ dispensary, or, we can send your prescription to the chemist or pharmacy of your choice.

You can be confident that by following the dosage, administration, and storage instructions that we will supply, you will be able to include the use of medicinal cannabis in your treatment plan.

Repeat scripts for existing CannaPlus+ Patients

Please use the following form if you would like to request a repeat order left on your current prescription. This form will be sent directly to the Pharmacist for action.

When filling out the form, please indicate which prescribed product, or products you are requesting. You will not be able to request a product not prescribed by your doctor.

Important: If you do not have repeats available but require more medication, or you would like to discuss a new/different product you will need to book a follow-up appointment via the link below.

Important: We can only action prescriptions previously filled out by the CannaPlus+ Dispensary.

If you are a patient at another provider, to use our affordable and accessible service and dispensary, you will need to book with one of our doctors initially.
