Cannabinoid receptors

Found in the body’s endocannabinoid system and are defined by two types. CB1 receptors – are mainly found in the central nervous system and CB2 receptors – are found in the peripheral nervous system. Chemical compounds naturally produced by the body called Cannabinoids bind to these receptors to promote homeostasis.  When we consume cannabis, the phytocannabinoids like THC and CBD can interact with these receptors, triggering different reactions
