Dr Garima Malik

Dr. Garima Malik completed her medical degree in India in 2014, gaining experience across public and private healthcare settings while managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. These early years shaped her practical, patient-centred approach to medicine.

She moved to New Zealand in 2018 and, after successfully passing NZREX, obtained General Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. She has since worked in all 3 major hospitals in Auckland, gaining broad experience across multiple specialties within the New Zealand healthcare system.

Through her clinical work, Garima developed a growing interest in supporting patients with chronic and complex conditions who often feel limited by conventional treatment options. This led her to her current role as a Medicinal Cannabis Doctor, where she focuses on helping patients with chronic pain, mental health concerns, and other conditions explore safe, evidence-based alternatives.

She is passionate about a holistic, individualised approach to care, combining medical treatment with lifestyle support to help patients improve their quality of life and feel empowered in their health journey.
