Dr Ruru Rangitaawa

Ruru graduated from Otago Medical School before beginning his clinical practice in Christchurch and working in various specialties, including mental health, surgery, medicine, and spinal rehabilitation. He has since spent several years writing and reviewing clinical guidelines used by junior hospital doctors.

Ruru’s interest in medicinal cannabis stems from its emerging usefulness in supplementing the treatment of complex and varied symptoms that aren’t responding to conventional management options. He is excited to be a part of the CannaPlus+ team due to their focus on providing evidence-based treatments that improve quality of life.
